Iman – BB Cream Review & GIVEAWAY!!

We are really excited to review Iman’s BB cream coming to the UK very soon.  Iman’s BB cream is first of kind specifically designed for the woman of colour.  If you are not familiar with the term “BB” it stands for Beauty Balm or Blemish Balm and is similar to tinted moisturizer and is ideal if you prefer a lighter, natural looking base makeup coverage.

WHY USE A BB CREAM
With the warmer weather approaching, and you may not always want to wear full coverage foundation, yet still want the appearance of even skin tone and a healthy dewy glow, then a BB cream may be for you.  Depending on the amount of coverage you prefer, BB cream and can be used alone or with a primer, concealer, foundation or sunblock. Following my regular cleansing routine,  I personally use a base primer to get the best results, a useful tip I can recommend  is to leave your primer on for about five minutes before applying your BB cream.
 

HOW TO APPLY
Iman’s BB cream has a squeezable tube with a handy nozzle tip which makes it clean and easy to apply using my fingertips.  A little goes a long way as it absorbes quickly and evenly to the face and neck area.  The great thing about BB creams generally is you can apply it in just the areas where you you need it. I tend to add a second thin layer but only where my blemishes are, but as it blends so easily there is no wastage. When I happy with the coverage, I use Iman’s Second to None translucent powder to seal and touch up during the day.

VERDICT
The best thing about this BB cream is a perfect match with my skin tone (deep earth) which i’ve not been able to achieve with other brands. It’s easy to apply and the results are immediate. I really love the natural dewy glow that lasts all day without looking chalky or oily. IBBC can easily be removed with my usual cleansing routine.The packaging is good;  it looks and feels like a quality product. It is a little pricy compared to other BB creams on the market but worth it for the colour match alone. It is a little tricky to find in the UK but I hope this will improve. A very welcome 8/10 – a great product. Thanks Iman!!x
