If you’ve ever wanted to achieve a ghoulishly spectacular look for Halloween, but you weren’t sure how, follow these simple steps and you’ll be scarily surprised how easy it is!

We used ”Kelly” from our Afrodite party collection. If you are on a budget, raid the odds & ends drawer at home (old fans/chopsticks/playing cards), or your children’s toy boxes for spiders and ghouls, or pop into the garden for natural accessories such as leaves or twigs to create a unique look that will show your creative flair this Halloween. | STEP ONE – STYLE WIG Start by securing your wig on a stand/mannequin/long bottle. You can age your wig easily using dry shampoo or with a color hairspray. Comb your wig forward and apply dry shampoo. Style your wig by backcombing/teasing to the desired shape. It does not have to be perfect, aim for messy bed-head look. Use extra hold hairspray for big-hair/bouffants/quiffs. If necessary secure with bobby pins. |

STEP TWO – HEADPIECE (optional)
Not as complicated as it seems – look out for any tiara or plastic rain-deer shaped hairband/flexi-bands/rods.
Using synthetic hairpieces, coil hair around rods and secure at ends using glue.
Add some coloured hair or rope at ends to create depth.
Add creepy-crawlies/bugs/worms/snakes and secure them with glue.

| STEP THREE – FINISHING TOUCHES Add accessories of your choice. We used dried flowers, which we secured with bobby pins. Use colour hairspray sparingly to age the hairpiece as desired Add bits of thinned-out cotton wool and attach to the wig and headpiece. Seal hairpiece & wig with extra-hold hairspray and allow to set. TIPS ON MAKE-UP
